Beth holds NC state general rehab, special fawn rehab & possession permits; SC general rehab permit; U.S.F.&W. migratory bird rehabilitation & possession permits. She has been an active rehabilitator since 2001.
 
She is currently serving as V.P. for the board of directors of Wildlife Rehabilitators of North Carolina, Inc., and is also a member of IWRC, NWRA, ARC, & IAATE. She has presented special programs for both NC & SC annual rehabilitator symposiums & conference.
 
Education programs with live Raptor ambassadors through Wild at Heart are done by her for local groups, clubs, schools & community summer programs. She receives no compensation for rehabilitation work or education programs.
 
Beth has attended several wildlife rehabilitation symposiums, including IWRC's, WRNC's & SC; and completed The Raptor Center's (University of Minnesota) "Care & Management of Captive Raptors" program.
